Character Education at The Riverside Federation

Character education is woven into every aspect of life at The Riverside Federation. Through our THRIVE values — Team, Healthy, Responsible, Inquisitive, Valued, and Empathetic — we nurture the personal qualities children need to flourish both in school and beyond. Our approach develops pupils who are confident, curious and compassionate, able to work with others, make thoughtful choices and contribute positively to their community. Daily routines, curriculum experiences, collective worship, and wider opportunities all reinforce these values, helping children understand not just what they learn, but who they are becoming. By modelling strong character and celebrating positive behaviours, we create a culture where every child is supported to grow into a resilient, respectful and responsible young citizen.
