Max Card

North Lincolnshire Council has introduced the Max Card to families who are registered on the Disabled Children’s Voluntary Database.

The Max Card is a discount card for families of children with additional needs and for foster families.

Families simply show their Max Card upon entry to a venue in order to obtain free or discounted admission.

The scheme is designed to help these families save money on great days out.

The Max Card is free.

To get a Max Card contact the Short Breaks Team on  01724 407988 or visit https://localoffer.northlincs.gov.uk/parents-and-carers/max-card/

short breaks

Short Breaks are for those who look after children as a parent.  They provide an

opportunity for disabled children and young people to take part in fun activities. Our short breaks take a variety of forms. In addition, they include the provision of day, evening, overnight and weekend activities.

For more information visit SEND Local Offer | Short Breaks for Disabled Children and Young People - SEND Local Offer (northlincs.gov.uk)

north lincolnshire parent forum

This is an independent forum supported by Government funding.

Based in North Lincolnshire, they are a voluntary group of parents of children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Their aim is to ensure that the views and concerns of the members are represented and their voices heard so as to improve the lives of the children and their families we represent.

Together we will influence the shape of future service provision for young people with SEND, share information and provide community support and resilience.
